The Herophilus Discovery Engine is our integrated technology platform for scaled-up phenotype-led drug discovery, with three components.
Herophilus Orchard is our standardized biosample collection and banking program. Each disease program begins with an Orchard of patient-derived iPSCs. We have built extensive patient biobanks in several brain diseases, including Rett syndrome, neurodegenerative diseases, idiopathic schizophrenia and a severe form of psychosis caused by 22.q11.2 deletion syndrome.
Herophilus OrCA, which stands for Organoid Culture and Assay, is our scaled automated system for culturing and longitudinal multi-modal phenotypic assay of brain organoids. OrCA workflow architecture is based on primary workcell and secondary walk-up assay cells.
Herophilus Orchestra is the cloud-based full-lifecyle biodata platform that helps coordinate and analyze all our discovery efforts. It starts with experiment specification and automation control, and ends with the human visualization and annotation tools built on top of modern machine learning pipelines.
